Окончил Ленинградский Политехнический Институт. С 1984 по 2008 г. работал в ГОИ им. С.И. Вавилова. С 2008 г. по настоящее время работаю в Университете ИТМО и СПбГЭТУ «ЛЭТИ» (по совместительству).
