Carrying out fundamental and applied research in field of fiber and integrated optics, microoptics, nanophotonics, nanoplasmonics, non-linear optics, holography, interaction of laser radiation with matter, laser physics, spectroscopy of solids, physics and chemistry of glasses, new photonics materials: glasses, glassceramics, and crystals including nanomaterials and nanotechnologies.
